What are MWMs?
MWMs are mobilisation techniques and are used as part of the Mulligan Concept. MWMs are used for restricted limb movements that could be restricted due to spinal problems. The spine is mobilised as symptomatic movements are performed by the individual. SNAGs are a form of MWMs.

How do MWMs help?
MWMs are glides performed on the joint whilst the individual performs the symptomatic movement. The glide should cause the movement to become pain free. The benefits of MWMs include:
- Reduced pain on movement of limbs
- Increased function
- Increased range of movement of limbs
