Private Medical Insurance

Physio.co.uk are registered with all private medical insurance companies. Insurers we commonly work with include; AXA PPP, Bupa, Simply Health, Cigna, Aviva, Standard Life, Simply Heath, WPA, Pru Health and many more.

Depending on the type of policy you have you may be asked to provide your insurer with some of the following information:

The name of your physiotherapist
The provider number of your physiotherapist
The HPC (Health Professional Council) number of your physiotherapist
Physio.co.uk's provider number

Some insurers will also request a letter of referral from your GP.

Arranging an appointment through your private medical insurance

If you have private medical insurance please ensure you have your policy details available when arranging your assessment.

Physio.co.uk require the following to invoice your insurance company directly:

Your details
Your insurers details
Policy number
Authorisation code (if appropriate)
Policy limitations
Where possible Physio.co.uk will invoice your insurance company directly.

Some private medical insurers require you to pay up front for any treatment and will reimburse you for some or all of the costs. If your private medical insurer requires you to pay upfront Physio.co.uk will provide a printed receipt containing all of the information required in order for you to claim back the costs that you are entitled to.

Health Care Cash Plans

Physio.co.uk are registered with all Heath Care Cash Plans including; Simply Health, WPA, and Medicash

Depending on your insurance provider you may be asked to provide some of the following information:

The name of your physiotherapist
The HPC (Health Professional Council) number of your physiotherapist

All health care cash plans require you to pay up front for any treatment. Physio.co.uk will provide a printed receipt containing all of the information required in order for you to claim back the costs that you are entitled to.
