Hydrotherapy reduces pain by promoting normal movement, increasing muscle length, and increasing muscle strength and control. Musculoskeletal Injuries Whether sport related or age related, hydrotherapy can help improve function following a musculoskeletal injury. Common conditions treated include: osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, ankle sprains, supraspinatus muscle tears, and low back pain.

Post Surgery - Hydrotherapy is used to quicken the recovery of patients following back, abdominal or lower limb surgery that causes them difficulty mobilising and/or unable to weight-bear fully. Hydrotherapy helps by increasing joint movement and increasing muscle strength.
